Convenience Begins With Options

Reserve Now...
With options, you can reserve access to a variety of upcoming events without any obligation to follow-through on the ticket purchase. Buying an option gives you the peace-of-mind of knowing your spot is secured while giving you that extra time to solidify your schedule.
Decide Later
The best part about options is having the ability to decide later. If something comes up and you cannot attend the game or event, you can sell your option through OptionIt’s secondary marketplace or you can simply let the option expire. If you decide you want to attend, all you need to do is exercise your option and then move forward with the purchase. Either way, the decision belongs to you!
Exercise Your Options
Ready to exercise your options? Great! Once the exercise window opens you can navigate to “My Options” within your account and select “Exercise.” You will receive a confirmation email from OptionIt with directions on how to complete your purchase (and in some cases, you’ll have the ability to make the purchase directly through OptionIt).
Exercise windows typically open weeks or days before the event (based on if the event is scheduled or contingency-based) and close shortly before the event is set to take place. Keep in mind that you can only exercise options in accordance with the given exercise window. OptionIt will send you reminder emails when the exercise window opens and 24 hours before the window closes. Options not exercised before the end of the exercise window will expire. Exercise windows are subject to change based on event details.
There will never be any fees associated with exercising your options; however, you may experience transaction fees associated with the purchase of your tickets, as per your team’s relationship with their primary ticketing provider.

Sell Your Options
Did you buy an option and not planning to attend? No problem! Navigate to “My Options” within your account, select the options you want to sell and click “Sell Options.” Once you set the selling price and confirm, your options will be available for purchase. The money received from an option sale (minus the transaction fee note below) will be put directly into your Holding Account. You can use that money for future option purchases, request a payment via PayPal or have a paper check mailed directly to you.
OptionIt charges the seller a 10% transaction fee on all options sold in OptionIt’s secondary marketplace. This fee will automatically be deducted from the amount deposited into your holding account. Buyers see a 7% transaction fee when purchasing options for sale within the secondary market. This fee is automatically added to your asking price.
